"There before me was one like a son of man,

This is a prayer to help us ‘raise our eyes’ above the troubles of our age,
to the prize ‘by grace we win’.
When Daniel saw the vision of the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, he did not know who this man would be and when he would come. The kingdoms of man will rise and fall, but this is the King of Kings and the Eternal King.
We sing today with a fuller vision than Daniel ever had.
We sing this as those loved by our resurrected King Jesus.
Eternal King return.
